Our Services

Library Cards

All patrons (users of the library) are required to provide their proper address, telephone number and email address in order to acquire a library membership card. Should a patron’s contact information change, it is the responsibility of the patron to notify the library of such changes.


Printing services are available at the library. A fee of 25 cents per page will be charged to all library patrons.

Celebrations & Special Events

First Nations Public Library Week celebration September 30 to October 4. Various activities are held throughout the week long event, in honour of First Nation Public Libraries across Ontario.

First Nation Communities Read is an annual program that honours First Nation authors and illustrators in children’s and adult literature.

This year’s children’s honored title is Water Walker, written and illustrated by Joanne Robertson. 

This year’s young adult/adult honored title is Seven Fallen Feathers written by Tanya Talaga.

Lending Materials

The library lends a wide variety of fiction, and non-fiction books, as well as DVD’s, Music CDs, for all ages. The Library’s collection can be accessed through our website: www.wikwemikong.olsn.ca
