Our Mission

The Wikwemikong Public Library is dedicated to free and equal access to information, culturally relevant collections, and services to nourish growing minds, promoting the love of reading and providing a gateway that connects people, ideas, and information.

About Us

The Wikwemikong Public Library is found in Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory, within the Wikwemikong High School.

First established in 1976, the WPL has undergone a number of changes and relocation. Currently, we’re in a cozy converted classroom and carry all the amenities expected of a public library, including WiFi access. We have a variety of titles spanning from children’s books to adult fiction and non-fiction, as well as a collection of DVDs.

Access to our library is done through the lower road-side entrance to the building. We are wheelchair accessible and have parking in front of the building. Be mindful of school buses twice daily.
